Moses Lake Washington Dune Guide is an independent planning resource. It is not Grant County, WDFW, WSDOT, or any other government agency, and it has no authority over access.
This destination runs on two opposing calendars, with the Yellow Zone closed October through June and the Mud Flats open July through September. Published dates can be adjusted, boundaries can move, and conditions inside a season vary. Confirm before you plan mileage around either.
Grant County controls access, camping, and closures at the ORV area. The Washington Department of Licensing handles registration. WDFW governs fishing and manages neighbouring wildlife land under different rules. WSDOT owns the roads. Where any of them differs from this guide, they are right.
Flag size and height, noise limits, and helmet rules are published by the county and can be revised. Treat the figures here as a prompt to check rather than as the ordinance itself.
You remain responsible for your route, equipment, skills, group, and judgement. Nothing here promises that ground is safe, firm, open, or legal on the day you ride it, and that goes double for anything near water.
